The art room 1: "the magic of nature"
The artist wrote the following about the Art Room: “She is unbending, that nature. A tiny dandelion breaking through the asphalt, roots of trees that lift and break through the pavement. It is not the brute force of a hurricane nor of a volcanic eruption, it is more of a delicate but persistent force. She fetches back what the people took from her, in a gentle way.
The contradictions of civilization, culture, wilderness and nature meet and cancel each other out. If you look closer, this paradox will lead you into the mysticism of ontology. Nature is unbending. And yet, it has a calming, relaxing effect on us. Like a walk in the woods after a warm rain in the spring. Like looking at a mountain landscape. Like the smell of a colourful summer meadow with nothing but the sound of the wind and the insects gathering nectar. And us in the middle of this creation, quiet and peaceful.”
