The word atelier comes from the French for workshop; it is the workplace of creative people. A guest who gains insights into a gastronomic atelier can thus peek behind the scenes of restaurant kitchen and service life. The Atelier offers state-of-the-art, global cuisine based on Swiss and regional products. The focus is on craftsmanship; everything is made under the direction of our second chef, Aschi Zahnd, and is thus "homemade". Guests can compile their menus themselves from the Atelier menu.
Another focus is the wine. The wine list of the Atelier presents about 450 European specialities.
The Atelier can accommodate 100 persons in one room, and about 40 persons in the subsequent Studio. The small and cosy courtyard is an island in the middle of the city; whether it is rainy or hot, it can be covered to make you comfortable, for up to 40 persons.
