Where it all began

A special recipe was once the start of an extraordinary story: the founder of the Teufelhof, Monika Thommy, discovered Michael Baader's recipe in a cookbook and wrote to him – without knowing him personally – in Germany. She invited him to Basel and won him over as head chef for the Teufelhof.

37 years later, Michael Baader invites guests to the table once more on his very last working day. A special evening that brings a defining Teufelhof story back to life in culinary form – with a 5-course menu, wine pairing and, of course, that legendary recipe with which it all began.
