Bar47 – Bar, Lunch und Small Plates im Teufelhof Basel
Café zum Teufel will be renovated indoors from 31 August 2026. In good weather, we will serve drinks from the SET Hotel. Hungry guests are welcome to take a seat on the Atelier terrace.
With a fresh look, a gently updated interior and a new culinary concept, this familiar place will become a modern meeting point for Basel – Bar 47.
Lunch, Apéro and Small Plates in Basel
Bar 47 will now open at 11:30 a.m. and remain open continuously until late in the evening. At lunchtime, the menu will feature delicious, simple dishes – uncomplicated, high-quality and just the right choice for a quick lunch.
In the afternoon, the atmosphere flows seamlessly into apéro. Alongside this, there will be a selection of small plates: little dishes to share, easy to order and combine. Whether for a small bite, a relaxed apéro or as an accompaniment to your drink – the homemade dishes by Christoph Hartmann and his team suit every occasion.
Wines by the Glass, Bubbles and Drinks
When it comes to drinks, Bar 47 also focuses on a carefully curated selection rather than an overly long menu. Precisely selected wines by the glass, sparkling bubbles, classic and modern cocktails as well as selected drinks provide variety and make the bar the ideal place for an apéro or an evening with friends.
A special highlight is our Coravin system. Every few weeks, two selected wines will be added to our by-the-glass selection: one red wine and one white wine, which you might otherwise rarely, or never, be able to taste by the glass. A small journey of discovery for wine lovers and everyone who enjoys discovering something new in their glass.
Bar 47 is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
