Restaurant Atelier – Brasserie in the heart of Basel city centre
At Restaurant Atelier in Teufelhof Basel, everything revolves around good, homemade food made from regional produce. The cuisine is down-to-earth, fresh and honest – just as you would expect from a classic brasserie.
A real tip for lunch in Basel city centre is our lunch table for CHF 28 incl. salad. Quickly served, well balanced and fairly priced – ideal for anyone in Basel looking for an uncomplicated and tasty meal. The current lunch menu can be viewed online.
In the evening, guests can create their own menu in the menu workshop – 2, 3 or 4 courses, from vegetarian to fish to meat classics such as the popular veal chop from Metzgerei Jenzer. This is accompanied by a selection from our varied wine list with top European wines.
The atmosphere at Atelier is lively, welcoming and uncomplicated. If you like, start at the bar or enjoy the quiet inner courtyard in summer. Whether alone, as a couple or in a small group – here you eat without detours, but with enjoyment.

Restaurant Atelier is open daily.
Please note our service times for food: We are happy to serve hot dishes from 12.00 – 13.30 and from 18.00 – 21.30 (last order). The premises close at around 24.00.
Restaurant Atelier is closed on the evening of 23 December and all day on 24 December, 25 December and 26 December.
