Lunch, apéro and Small Plates in Basel
The Bar 47 now opens at 11.30 am and remains open continuously until late in the evening. At lunchtime, the menu features fine, simple dishes - uncomplicated, high-quality and just right for a quick lunch.
In the afternoon, things flow seamlessly into apéro. There is also a selection of Small Plates: small plates to share that can be ordered easily and combined with one another. Whether for a light bite, an extended apéro or as an accompaniment to your drink - the homemade dishes from Christoph Hartmann and his team suit every occasion.
Open wines, bubbles and drinks
When it comes to drinks, the Bar47 focuses on a carefully selected range rather than the longest possible menu. Precisely chosen open wines, sparkling bubbles, classic and modern cocktails as well as selected drinks provide variety and make the bar the ideal place for an apéro or an evening with friends.
A particular highlight is our Coravin system. Every few weeks, two selected wines rotate into the open selection: a red wine and a white wine that you might otherwise only rarely, or not at all, get to try by the glass. A small journey of discovery for wine lovers and anyone who enjoys getting to know something new in their glass.
Opening times
The Bar47 is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:30 am to midnight.
On Sunday, we open as early as 9:30 am for the Weisswurst Brunch.
Reservations are only possible for Sunday brunch and for lunch.
