Food & Drink
At Teufelhof, we present two different restaurants in Basel. The Restaurant Atelier offers a modern world cuisine based on Swiss and regional ingredients. The Restaurant NOVA impresses with its seasonal, product-focused and straightforward gourmet cuisine.
In addition, an attractive Bar47, a wine shop and numerous gastronomic and culinary events enrich our offering.
Christoph Hartmann shapes the culinary experience as the new head chef together with his sous chef Fabian Borer and the eighteen-strong kitchen team. With plenty of passion and creativity, all dishes are created directly in-house – from preparation to the finished creation.
Restaurant Atelier – Brasserie in the heart of Basel city centre
The word Atelier comes from French for workshop; it is the workplace of a creative person. So anyone who, as a guest, gets an insight into a gastronomic Atelier is looking into everyday life in the kitchen and service.
Restaurant Nova
The NOVA restaurant stands for uncomplicated gourmet cuisine from head chef Christoph Hartmann, in which high-quality produce and precise craftsmanship take centre stage. Guests can expect a multi-course tasting menu with meat and fish, or as a vegetarian version, accompanied by a wine selection with over 500 items.
Bar47
Bar47 in the Teufelhof Basel is a straightforward meeting place for lunch, aperitifs, small plates and drinks. The menu features simple, high-quality dishes, homemade small plates to share, wines by the glass, bubbles and cocktails. In this way, Bar47 combines uncomplicated cuisine with a carefully curated selection of drinks.
Beschle Corner
With Confiserie Beschle, Basel tradition moves into SET Hotel.Residence: fresh baked goods, Beschle ring, Saint-Honoré cake and handmade Swiss chocolate – daily in the lobby, since 1898.
Falstaff wine shop
The search for exceptional wines and products for the house kitchen has contributed greatly to the reputation of the Teufelhofs.
Brewery
In the depths of the Teufelhof, along the old Basel city walls from the 11th and 13th centuries, lies the workshop of Stadtmauer Brauer.
